Next week, members of the Education, Learning & Leisure Committee are being asked to agree a 10p increase in the price of a school meal for primaries 4-7. This would take the cost to £2.10 per meal. I know the catering staff do a fantastic job to provide nutritious and balanced meals to children across Aberdeenshire, providing over £3million school meals in 2013/14 in primary and secondary schools.
