Westhill Swimming Pool will be hosting the annual SAS Junior Meet. We expect in excess of 400 young people to compete, predominantly from Aberdeenshire Swim Clubs although some will be from further afield.

Westhill Swimming Pool will therefore be closed to the public between the hours of 7am-6pm Saturday 10th January 2015 and 7.30am-9pm on Sunday 11th January 2015.

I was delighted to drop in to the Westhill Art Project Christmas Craft Workshop at the Old Schoolhouse a couple of weekends ago with Robert Smith, MP. The event was led by artist Penny Downes. Children of all ages had great fun making decorations using natural materials. You can see some of the decorations in the town centre this weekend at the Christmas Event.

Further to my earlier post dated 1st December, please note that due to a change in requirements for the Bucksburn Swimming Club’s gala, the Westhill Swimming Pool will now be open to the public on Sunday 7th December 2014 from 7.30am-9.00am and then again that day from 5pm-9pm.

It is expected in excess of 400 young people will compete, predominantly from Aberdeenshire Swim Clubs though some from further afield. Westhill pool will therefore be closed to the public between the hours of 7.30am-9.00pm that day.
